The Bach Scoring Academy focuses solely on your short game and is offered to adults year round at Heatherwoode Golf Club in Springboro, Ohio.

Tom Bach, PGA offers multiple adult golf instruction classes and specialized individual instruction focusing on putting, chipping, pitching and bunker play. Each class is based upon your current level of play and the goal of each is to get you to play your best!

Ladies Short Game Boot Camp

Welcome to the Bach Scoring Academy @ Heatherwoode Short Game Boot Camp. A great wedge game can save many strokes whether it be recovering from a poor shot or taking advantage of a great drive. During this camp we will address chipping and pitching from around the green, pitching from just off the green, bunker play and the soft lob shot.

Ladies Putting Boot Camp

Welcome to the Bach Scoring Academy @ Heatherwoode putting boot camp! Putting is the one shot you need on every hole, so let’s get to work. At this camp you will learn the proper posture so that YOU can see the line and aim your putter correctly. We will address the best way to grip your putter based on YOUR tendencies and natural movements. Additionally, we will discuss green reading and provide practice drills to improve your skills.

Laser Sharp Putting Clinic

Become a great putter in 2023! In this clinic Tom will determine each student’s posture and ball position that will allow the student to see the line and aim the putter accurately. Tom will also work with each student to determine the best grip for each student to allow the student to return the putter face square at impact and start the putt on the intended line.

This clinic will prepare you for lower scores through improved greenside short game shots. Students will create a solid foundation for the core pitching and chipping shots around the green, as well as strategy for what type of shot should be played under different circumstances.

Statistics show only about half of golfers can break 100 for 18 holes. In this 3 week class we will build the foundation of your short game including pitching, chipping, basic green reading, proper putting setup to see the line and distance control on the greens.

Statistically only 1 in 4 golfers shoot below 90. Are you an avid player, but just can’t seem to get into the 80s and beat your friends? In this 4 week program we will address the dreaded partial wedge shot, bunker play, the high lob shot, create your “go to” shot around the green and create a consistent putting stroke.

Play With Your Coach!

The best way to play better golf is to play with your coach! During a 9 hole on course session, areas of the student’s game will be identified so strokes are saved.

On course sessions can include club selection, shot selection, mental management and other strategic aspects of the game.

Greens fees are not included in the pricing, multi player discounts are available, contact Tom for details.
